Privacy Policy
Effective 14 September 2026 · DailyDare is operated by Indrevo (ABN 21 979 134 918), Australia ("we", "us").
Who this covers
This policy covers the DailyDare mobile app and dailydare.online. DailyDare is for adults 18+ only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.
What we collect
- Account: email address, display handle, date of birth (age verification only), password (hashed — we never see it).
- Content you create: dare submission videos, thumbnails, comments, reports.
- Economy: DareCoin balance and transaction ledger, purchase history (product and store — we never receive card numbers; payments run through Google Play / Apple and RevenueCat).
- Device & usage: device model, OS version, app version, crash data (Sentry), analytics events with hashed identifiers and no raw personal information.
- Approximate region: country-level location from your store account and IP, used for regional availability and legal compliance. We do not track precise GPS location.
How we use it
- Run the game: publish dares, judge submissions (AI-assisted review of your video against the dare), rank leaderboards, pay out coins.
- Safety: age verification, content moderation, enforcing dare rules, handling reports (Australian Online Safety Act compliance).
- Payments: crediting purchased coin packs via RevenueCat webhooks.
- Fixing things: crash reporting and performance monitoring.
We do not sell personal information. We do not run third-party advertising SDKs.
Who processes it for us
Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage — data hosted in Australia region where available), Cloudinary (video processing and delivery), Google Gemini (AI judging of submissions), RevenueCat (purchase management), Sentry (crash reporting), Google Play / Apple (billing). Each processor receives only what its job requires.
Your submissions are public
Dare submissions, your handle, and leaderboard placements are visible to other users — that is the game. Think before you film. You can delete any submission you've made from within the app.
Your rights
- Access & correction: view and edit your profile in-app, or email us for a copy of your data.
- Deletion: delete your account in-app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or via dailydare.online/delete-account. Completed within 30 days. Payment and safety records we're legally required to keep are retained only as long as the law requires.
- EU/UK users: you additionally have GDPR rights to portability, restriction and objection — same contact.
- Complaints: contact us first; Australians can also contact the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).
Retention & security
Active account data is kept while your account exists. Encryption in transit everywhere; sensitive identifiers hashed at rest; access restricted to what operations require. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm we will notify affected users and the OAIC as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
